It didn't fit
The dress I got looks completely different from the one advertised — the fit, color, and overall look are not the same at all.

The dress was not the same style as the one shown in the photo. It only has two ruffles instead of three, and the torso is much longer than expected. I’m honestly a little disappointed because it doesn’t look like what was advertised.
Hi love! So sorry for any confusion. We do have a note in the product description explaining that the first cut of this dress had three ruffle tiers, but after fit testing and feedback, the final production version was updated to the two-tier ruffle skirt.
The second product photo shows the updated two-tier style, and the description also notes that current orders ship with the updated two-tier version. We totally understand if you were hoping for the original sample look, but the dress you received is the final production style.
